Its been awhile since ive been on beretta.net. but to awnser the question. i would say rebulid the Q4 the way gas prices are u should drive a Q4 Beretta.

about taking it to a qualifide mechanic. ill never do that after the last gtz i owned they blew the motor up and refused to fix it. so i dont trust garages or shops. i would acuually rather fix it my self. do you know a repair manul website so i can print of detaild descriptions on repairing fwd ber...

im not familar with the coil packs. can you tell me where they are? also can you tell me where the timing chain is. i useally work on rear wheel drive cars. not to famillar with front wheel drive cars. also where can i get a compression tester and what is the price?

i know the cat is not clogged because the exhaust is broke in front of the cat . basicly i can pop it apart and look. i still think its the motor. can you give me detailed description on cheking the compression with out taking the motor apart.

the cattlic converter is not clogged and the manifold dosent leak any other ideas. would it start if the timing is out?

its a 1988 base 2.0. when i try to pull out it skips or somthing. i thought it was the pistons but my dad said it is the exhaust where its broke in front of the cattlic converter. but i think you guys know more than me or my dad. please help. my car mean more to me than any thing in the world.

my best opoion would change the spark plug wires. but you said your getting spark. try checking the fuel input you might be flooding it. also try checking the fuel lines. post back when you get a chance
