thanks mr. pink! hey guys, you know what? a part of the problem was my aftermarket starter motor (remy). it grinded up the flywheel a bit. too much clearance even without shim caused this shaking. i swapped the starter with a original one: the engine shakes less than before. not perfect, but much be...

thanks for the hint.
update: the engine shakes only along the horizontal axis parallel to the axle. i think it's a bad engine mount.

everything works as it should. except this: since yesterday there is a ticking noise coming from the back exhaust manifold. seems to be a exhaust leak.

hi I hadn't this issue before: when I start the engine, it shakes badly together with the rattling exhaust pipe. only on startup. i know there exists this neon brake disc upgrade for the rear.
but i wonder if there is also a upgrade with bigger drums for the rear axle available? :D

hey BerettaGT89, keep an eye on the electronics, which often like to fail after 25+ years.
check the ECM yourself. it's not a big deal. if the pins are corroded, the ecm will likely fail.

i had to readjust the tension leafs on my gt after removing the spoiler. now it smoothly opens for about 3 inches. Mine was a spoiler-less car stock and when i use the added popper it still flies lol Spoiler-less trunk lids yes even on the lightest spring load will pop open on their own and not stay...
