Re: "Routine maintenance" turns in to no-start!

That was good thinking to go over what you had done to find the problem. My daughters Saturn blew a fuse related to the oxygen sensor. It caused problems and warning lights but still ran. I disconnected the oxygen sensor and the new fuse did not blow. I figured the senor heater had shorted out so we...

Re: AC R12 or R134?

There should be a factory sticker which states what type of refrigerant you have in the car. But yes look for the type of fitting you have if the sticker is missing. You can retrofit an r12 system with r134 but when I did mine, I was instructed to add pag oil as well, because r134 will not mix with ...

Re: Anyone know anything about stock keyless entry on beretta?

I'm not 100% sure about the Beretta keyless option but my 1994 Lumina mini van has
the factory keyless option so I don't see why it would not be available on a Beretta.

Re: What is my husband's Beretta worth?

Ditto on pics and more description. Underside rust is critical. If it's really clean, could be worth 3-4000 dollars, maybe more.
180 KMS? maybe you mean 180,000 which might be 111,000 miles?
It sounds like you are not in the US.

Re: Barrett-Jackson Beretta Twin Turbo All Wheel Drive.

Congratulations on the purchase. It's a very interesting car. You must be very proud to have this one of a kind! I wonder how fast it is. Did you run it at Great Lakes dragaway? It's inter-cooled via a water system for that as opposed to direct air. I wonder how effective that is vs direct air. A lo...

Re: What sensor is this?

I would guess:
a low pressure switch would be open (no conduction) at atmospheric pressure.
A high pressure would be closed at atmosphere (conducts) and opens at a too high pressure
So if they will let you put an ohmmeter on the new ones, you might be able to compare to your old one.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?

"Mice mostly eat wires off of some of the newer cars that have a soy element to the insulation, but of course they can chew anything." I've heard about the newer wires with soy but way back, years ago, We had a 73 Camaro which sat for a few weeks as we tried to sell it. Mice ate the plug w...

Have you tried searching for a manual on the internet? There seems to be info out there.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?

How does the car smell? When mice got into mine, I had a hell of a time getting the stink out. They chewed the seat belts and rubber weather stripping. Nowadays I hear they eat the insulation off wires in cars. I hate mice. I keep traps baited outside so they don't get the chance to get in. Resist t...

Re: Touch up paint for my white GTZ

"Is this the same thing? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dupli-Color-Sc ... 4233!US!-1" since it has the same 8554 number, I'd say yes. Your car has base coat and clear coat. The 8554 is the base color and the other number on your sticker is the clear coat. The spray requires a clear coat over it...

Re: 1988 Beretta misfire when cold and random acceleration

These engines had injectors that went bad often. When cold, it runs rough but smooths out a little when warm. You can pull the spark plugs and they should all be very light brown or almost white. If they are all black except one, which would be lighter the the other five, you have a bad fuel injecto...

I'm sorry for your loss. It's always sad when someone passes on.
I lost a sister, sister in law, cousin, and uncle, all in this past year.
Maybe you can post a link to the car when they sell it.

Z26 lawn ornament

In Wisconsin, over the past ten or so years, I always see this poor Beretta sitting in somebody's front drive.
I wonder if it's worth saving? Maybe someday I'll stop and ask and take a look see.
