Just checking in
I haven't stopped by to say anything in a long time. So how are things around here? It looks like the board has almost slowed to a stop. No one has posted in General discussion since Friday. Anyway, I sold my Beretta to a salvage yard last July before I moved to LA. It had a few problems that I coul...

early 90s cavy shift knob
You would be better of getting a shifter assembly from a late 88-1990. That way you get the correct bracketing. If you get a 88-90 assembly the only concern would be that the early 88 shifter cable might not be the same as the late 88-90. Take a look at how the cable atteches to your current shifter...

early 90s cavy shift knob
Early 88 and 87 Berettas had a different shifter assembly than late 88-96s. The Cavy shift knob is only going to fit the later '88 Berettas. The 87 and early 88 interior looks like this . They also had the front seat belts mounted into the body of the vehicle. late 88s had them mounted in the doors...

floating or staped rotor
Floating means that there are pins that hold the caliper to the knuckle and/or hub however the caliper can slide back and forth to adjust for variances in the rotor. Floating calipers also allow for only having pistons on one side of the caliper. As the brakes are applied the pistons move inward pus...

ABS Master Cylinders
I have wondered the same thing Jeff.
If the exterior dementions and fittings matched up with the pre-ABS cylinders, and they had a larger bore, you could have a nice little improvement for the older cars.

Have you got a w26?
They won't be grouped together, because the vin is a serial number and they were not all produced at once. They would have been produced on a by order basis. This will be a hard data base to put together.

225/50 or 205/55?
The otehr thing that hinders wider tires is far worse wear. A wider tire is more susepable to shoulder wear from alignment angles being out of spec. most notably the toe angle. Sticking with the factory size 205/55s would be best.

Are the 88-90 instrument clusters engine specific or can a V6 cluster be swapped into a car that has a four cylinder?
