Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Yeah, that rear view should be an easy fix, hoping to attack that this week. Yep, that paint job is just 2 coats of rustoleum spray cans "gloss sail blue." All things considered, it's holding up wayyy better than I expected for the $30 ish it cost me. Also I ended up not taking the car to ...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

you compensated for a bent rocker and fender... oie, why bother? why not just go get some replacement parts to make it right? Really because this car will be out of commission starting Monday for the upcoming winter and so I don't want to start anything I'm not going to finish. I work in retail and...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/e35_zpsx2jr0fun.jpg Finally finished installing the Z04 kit. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had to do some legit measuring on the driver side since the rocker panel and fender aren't exactly aligned evenly so I had to compensate for...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

So I have a new heater core+ hoses since I'm running a bypass right now. http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/DSC02210_zps7ivya4sv.jpg I also pulled some Z04 kit parts from the garage attic. mmmmm, antiquey up there: http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/DSC02386_zpskv...

Re: Shift cable for 95 2.2 L4 Beretta

Those 2.2L cables are virtually discontinued everywhere and next to impossible to find unless you come across one in a junkyard. You can still fetch a new shifter cable from here: http://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts-list/1995-chevrolet-beretta/shift-controls-manual-transmission.html?PNC=7cbf96850e5c7c...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Watching the video it almost looks like the passenger rear is about to come off the ground. Sure this is not so, but make me think more power could make it happen. Ah, it's early and I may not be fully awake. Do you have a frame brace? Always wanted to brace the subframe in the front and rear. The ...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Ya took out a 240? lmao, I have to ask what kind of driver were they? Where is the toyota on the achievment list? That 240 seems to only have done one run, mechanical problems? I'm sure if he had a few more runs, probably would have slaughtered the poor Beretta lol. Also here's were my brother land...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Voila! The whole temp sensor debacle has been sorted out. Seems like my car doesn't play well with any coolant temp sensor that's not ACDelco. The BWD I had over the weekend read temps a little higher than actual and didn't engage my fan when it was supposed at halfway. The O'reilly Masterpro brand ...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Camber is a basic mod, doesn't chew up the tires on my car. Might do a little on yours. So are you finding it more easy to do the autoX? Not pushing the car so hard to get those speeds? AutoX is easier on this car but I really attribute that to the LSD. It puts the power down when I need it, virtua...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

You ever had any thoughts about some rear camber? Negative that is. Sure helped my car even for slow turns. On games 1.5 or more is great, on this car 1.5 looked funny and 3/4 felt almost the same. I like to get my car to max grip spec so before I go into advance adjustments. I have yet to reach th...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

just start cutting stuff out of it, interior, AC etc RACECAR Now you're speaking my lingo! http://www.roadkill.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Beretta_LeMons.jpg Thinking twice about using the Addco. Tell me how it does on the street. Pretty sure of what your going to say, but hey, testing is everyt...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Was starting to wonder where you were at. What made the rear that stiff? To me that is a bit much. because Addco rear sway. I still want it stiffer with the internal bar + the direct acting front sway from a GTZ + eventual Koni inserts. After that, I'll be satisfied with it :) Essentially I want th...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

oh man it all goes downhill after 30 *sad face* So it's been awhile but I finally got around to doing stuff. Some pics in case people forgot what it looks like: http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/DSC02187_zpsrp5ffe2b.jpg I had to change out some tires, and jacking the car from the...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Is the car ready to make the trek to Ocean City in a few weeks????? The car will be ready but I won't be :( I'm in the middle of another career shift. I'm in sales and interviewed for a position in visual merchandising. I'm almost 30, I need to finally settle down. The boss is out of state for a co...

Re: Chevy Beretta FF

Well that was a bit of a shock. Bit hard to wake up to. LOL needs to be darker to match the wheels. What is your front camber? Got a bit too much positive on my car. NTB seems to think that is normal for Berettas as they have done that to both cars I've owned. Off the top of my head, I have no clue...
