Re: If You Parted Out a Car, Was It Worth It?

Unless something is in really nice shape (like interior), these are not worth parting out unless you have a lot of time. I've purchased several cars for 1 or 2 parts that I needed, and then parted out the rest, and I'm lucky if I get my $200 back I paid for the car. Unless they are the special perfo...

Re: Cousin Selling Beretta for Dental Work

I'm sure the scrapper's offer includes towing charges. It's normally $60-75 to tow it, or more depending on where it's located. I'm sure they'd give more if it was delivered to them. Around here it's about $125 towed, or $200 delivered.

Re: Cousin Selling Beretta for Dental Work

Please give a location (City/State) and a means to contact you. I'd also recommend posting some pictures of the interior (the best you can get since the doors won't open) - seats and dashboard, as that's likely the main reason someone would purchase a car like this.

Thanks!

Re: Seat Brackets for a 96 Z26

Are you looking for the side brackets that the rollers go in, or the bottom bracket that the seat sits on?

All, I sent Rodney some measurements on my cables, but he needs your help with additional measurements as described above! If he doesn't get much feedback on this, then the cables won't happen. I'll get some cables measured up for you this weekend Rodney. Although I don't think I have a tape measure with MM on it :(

Re: Getrag shift cables

Rodney,

There is a small aluminum bracket which bolts to the transmission that holds the cables in place. Here are some pictures of one on the transmission and off the transmission. I could easily send one to you if you'd like for the reproduction.
