Re: RE: Re: What kind of muffler do you have?

These days I'm more partial towards quieter exhaust. I'm considering getting a 96 Beretta base muffler and putting it on my 90 gtz because it works very well for silencing the 3100 SFI engine, its exhaust makes no noise. I don't think airflow will be an issue at all. Have you considered a Dynomax S...

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Finally moved it again and got a good shot at my old spot of it! I also picked up a new velour "wine" colored dash cover, to keep my dash nice. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180824/e2bcdff6fd813db090d21cd240392772.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180824/98a7a438ab3777bf426c8b379...

So this happened! She fits easy, and I still have plenty of room on my side! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180725/186bddd40cbf34ad3a40089adf2c87f9.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180725/f2fb9e87eee92e1ed676697fb85873a3.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180725/f1afea8e20fa16a663bc4fa...

Re: RE: Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

I have a very similar gauge "bezel" trim in my old Z (mine is unpolished stainless, yours looks polished or chrome in that pic) and silver EL gauge face overlay behind it. I love the look of your red-faced gauges, were they custom-made? I also custom-built a whole cluster for my 'old' Cam...

Re: RE: Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Nice! I like Taylor cables -great quality, huge selection (colors and boot-angles). I have a set on my '89 RS Camaro with a 350 F/I Police Special, they've been on there for at least eight years and still work perfectly, they show no wear or age even near the headers. They're great! Cheap for being...

New Thundervolts! My last set has been on three engines, were used when I bought them, and lasted me nine years! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180704/9713b7c1f5f12f734438e8d25cad40bc.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180704/a23099daed89ccb13ed1ca4a4f42bd4b.jpg Sent from my VS501 using Tapa...

Oh I'm ready! I've only missed two years out of the nineteen I've been going. I will make it to a Bfest someday though.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

She's dented, dinged, and needs some rust and paint repair... But she still cleans up good! Finally hit it with the polishing mitt tonight. Side note - handles so much better now! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180629/a98387d2a3a5eb8331ef47f4150fdecd.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180629...

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Yep, used the slot and the bolt hole, and lock washer-ed it all on! Testing it out tomorrow. Should be a major upgrade from running just my old hollow bar and my MRZ bar in the trunk too!
