Hey Beretta guys & gals it's been a while! I'm glad to see the Beretta community is still going strong. I noticed a few users from back in the day are still here and I hope all of you are doing well. :D

Re: Vintage VW Street Machines Contest

Voted for ya! Just curious, what powers this thing? As far as I know(what dad in law told me) the original motor is a built 1600 with a 3/4 cam. That motor ran, but had .055 of endplay in the crank which means the crank is hammering the mains. I built a 1641 motor with a stock cam for it to get it ...

Re: Vintage VW Street Machines Contest

We're well on our way to 600 votes but still have a long way to go. I re-read the contest rules & realized what's happening. There are 2 classes, Vintage VW Street (I entered our buggy in this class) & VW Off Road. Currently we are in 1st place in the Vintage VW Street category! The 2 top gu...

Re: who has direct tv?

Dish Network blacked out Fox in 2010, now AMC. I'm tired of cable/sat co's, & I'm getting a Free to Air set up soon! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-Motorized-Omegasat-FTA-Satellite-3-ROOM-System-/220607135980 http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Complete-Motorized-Omegasat-FTA-Satellite-3-ROOM-System-/08/!C...

Thanks man! Every vote helps. We are now in 3rd place, it's a long way to first!

And moderators, I posted in the wrong forum, can you move this thread to off topic?

Vintage VW Street Machines Contest

Hey Beretta.net, haven't been here in ages, glad to see the forums still going strong! I've been doing a frame off resto on my V8 S-10 & working on my wife's 70's VW dune buggy. My father in law gave us his VW dune buggy & I'm in the process of restoring it. I recently got an email from Appl...

Been awhile

I haven't been here in ages! I'm glad to see the Beretta forum is still here. Here's what I've been doing since I sold all of my Berettas.. My wife got this from her dad. It's a Berrien Citation II kit he put together in 1973. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk319/yerfawked/Buggy/buggy2.jpg The m...

Beretta.Net Web Site (MUST READ)

I sold all of my Berettas a few years ago (had 5 of them), but I'd hate to see this site go by the wayside.
I have webspace, but my site Synthwerx.com consumes most of it.
If there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

Route 66

My folks drove a portion of route 66 on there way to AZ. I got a cool T-shirt out of that deal, lol. Road trips are fun. I drove my 99' Cherokee to Minneapolis a few weeks ago. I must say MN and WI are beautiful states. Didn't care for IN and IL, too many damn tool booths. Be careful out there, Merr...

Don't deal with pak-n-ship on eBay

I won a Fender Bass guitar off eBay from pak-n-ship. It arrived damaged. The guy claims the neck was striaght, but it wasn't. The neck was loose and bowed, and the pickups buzzed. The guy was a real A-hole when I contacted him about it. I took the guitar to a music store and they adjusted the neck f...
