Well guys i run in second gear his car also has a 2800 stall which pulls me off the corner like crazy since i have a stock 1895 stall and yes our tech guy is stupid and by the way i do have a 3400 bottom end in my car that guy has just basically took out a 3.1 140 hp motor and swapped in a lg8 180 h...

transmission questions

i have a 96 chevy beretta stock converter which is 1850 4t60-e transmission what can i do to get more launch for my transmission i race circle track and at about 45 mph it maunally shifts to second any help of how i could get it to stay in first longer?

well with your car running it should be putting out 14-16 volts, but i would check the alt. fuse if that is good make sure all of your fuseable links are good( there the wires that run from your starter to the alt they are bad about breaking over time)

Ok i went to practice tonight and at my surprise runing my race car with out the end links really helped out alot it does have a little body roll but nothing that a strut brace didn't fix

i used to have a sunbird with that motor make sure that the vaccuum line under the pletum is not bending i had that problem it will cause a stumble because of air and mine also sounded like a whistle on the track before i found the problem, if that dosen't fix it try the map sensor

has to be stock springs the same size all the way around no adjustable stuff at all, i was wondering i'm going to try it at our local practice if just unhooking the sway bar would help my car a little bit, i know it works great on dirt but never heard of anyone trying it on asphault

Ok now that i'm on the right track the next question is the fact that i have a 1996 chevy beretta base model, around where im from theres no 1996 z26s running around and most of them have been crushed which years can i get a bigger swaybar and for the rear which it being a base model dosen't have on...

Ok thanks alot, i know the z26 has a 30mm front swaybar but my base model has the tiny swaybar it has alot of roll over issues going 80 -90 mph through turns
