Re: Help please 89 Chevy Beretta
Ok. I was told this was it but sounds like it's not. We're just about done with the car haha. 6 months of this. Replacing parts, removing every thing inside and out and still nothing.

Re: Help please 89 Chevy Beretta
Unfortunately we don't have a way to pull codes. I replaced the TPS 2 days ago and that didn't help. Did another relearn on it as well. What it's doing is when I brake ands then take my foot off the brake it just dies. The idle seems to be fine now otherwise. I'm located in Gardena CA probably to fa...

Help please 89 Chevy Beretta
Hey Beretta fam. I am in dire need of some assistance. It seems my 1989 Chevy Beretta GT is and has been having issues for the past 6 months. I have taken it three different mechanics now and they can't seem to fix the problem and only make matters worse for my bank account. To save you the boring s...

Re: Setting IAC valve
Everyone keeps mentioning the ECM so it seems that is the best place to start. I have never worked on cars and I can't even find a Chevy dealership around me to work on it. I will see what I can do and hopefully get her running. Thanks guys.

Re: Setting IAC valve
CorvetteBeretta seriously I just want to go and punch these guys in their faces and slam my head into the wall for being a dumbass and not having them diagnose the problem instead of telling them what I think it is as previously mentioned. I bet the $460 could have easily fixed the problem, now I am...

Re: Setting IAC valve
Yeah I had a feeling after the TCC was replaced it wasn't that. I should have just taken it to a certified Chevy dealership from the beginning and had them just fix it. I am over the money at this point since I am the one who told them to replace it but going forward I will make sure I take it to a ...

Re: Setting IAC valve
Thank you Ifixalot at this point I am so over this car LOL. I need a break from it. I will just take it to a Chevy dealership to get it up and running. Last night when I went home it wouldn't even start I had to push it and just throw it in my garage. Yeah I wasted a lot of money and I am an idiot a...

Re: Setting IAC valve
Actually even after I originally unplugged the TCC it didn't work it kept dying on me. Oh well live and learn. The car is in my garage and will sit there till I can get someone to fix it properly. I've never worked on cars, ever and had so many different people telling me to do this or that or it wa...

Re: Setting IAC valve
I will try unplugging the TCC again tonight. If that doesn't work then I give up and I am just going to sell her. I can't keep dealing with idiot mechanics taking advantage of me and I unfortunately can't work on it myself. Thanks for your help guys.

How much do you think I could get for my Beretta
It has had some work done to it, I guess if I unplug the TCC cord which was just replaced it should run just fine. So basically with that being said and the pictures posted on here what do you think I could get top dollar for this? And yes those are original miles. Has some paint peeling and a minor...
