Re: cold air intake
Thanks
I don't know if it is a 91 or 92, the tittle is no help for that.
Will the VIN give me the year ?
When I come back home, I will look for it.

Re: head gasket gone
OK thanks
Do I need to change the head bolts ? In my Dodge Shadow, I know the bolts can be used 3 times, even if many don't recommand that.
What other parts should be changed (timing ?) ?
You advise me to change the water pump.

I didn't think about the intake stroke !
Good idea, for the oil, thanks.

my Beretta GTZ
I finally bought a Beretta GTZ after 26 years of wait when I saw it in a show while I was a kid. It is the worst car, you can find, completly ripped, with a blown head gasket, crazy green color wheels and bad paint. But it is mine now and I'm happy to finally own one. There are even some goodies Ins...

Re: head gasket gone
Thanks for your inputs. I will follow this advices and change the oïl first. If I see bubbles in the water tank, does that mean that no water enter the engine ? In order to park the car unntil the head gasket is changed, is it better to fill the engine/radiator with coolant liquid, or let the engine...

head gasket gone
I bought a beretta 2.3 with a blown head gasket. It will take time before I will change it, so I would like to know if it is possible to run the engine for a 2 or3 minutes at idle, at least once a month in order to have the camshaft and other parts oiled, since the car will stay outside under cover....

Re: 3.4 DOHC swap
IIRC, someone made 280 WHP by porting the head.
With a turbo, one put 417whp and 427wtq at 14psi (http://www.homemadeturbo.com/forced-ind ... uild-97661)

Re: 3.4 DOHC swap
This swap is not for me.
I like the 3.4 though, it is like if it was a QUAD 6 engine (and the Northstar a QUAD8).

cold air intake
I'm looking for an air filter box for my 2.3L beretta, the oem one is missing (like many other parts). On eBay, there are a lot of cone filters. I don't like these kind of filters since they are usually less efficient than the stock one, hot air Inside the engine compartment. However, it may take lo...

Re: 3.4 DOHC swap
Thanks,
I thought it would be easier to do this swap.
Can the manual trans of the 3.1L be used instead of the auto tranny that comes with the 3.4L, or the belhousings are different ?
Is the 3400 swap easier ?
In this case, I would have to look for a FWD car (no camaro or Pontiac), right ?

Hi,
I'm looking for a air filter box and hose for a 2.3L beretta.
If you have other parts for sale, let me know.
Thanks for looking.
