Re: Ceramic vs semi metallic, does ceramic get hotter?

Will be keeping that brand in mind. Not sure on the master, always seems that weakness stays in the back of the mind. Did change it on the 90GT. The only thing not replaced on it was the booster. That thing made you plan ahead to stop. This 95 is far better, but nothing close to the 04 Cavy(which ha...

Re: Ceramic vs semi metallic, does ceramic get hotter?

That may have came out wrong. I could stop, it was just that you really had to cram on the brakes to get them to the smallest amount needed. In a panic stop I didn't want to have to think about how much harder they had to be pushed. Beretta brakes don't inspire much confidence in the first place. An...

Re: Ceramic vs semi metallic, does ceramic get hotter?

For the short time they were on my car I never had them heat up that bad. Did get warmer than the semi metallic pads. You could feel more heat from the wheel. That was in the fall, as for the winter they took too long to warm up and start working. Almost blew the stop sign at the end of the block. F...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

L body's will drive you crazy. Sounds like that injector is stuck(could be half open). This is a bit much to ask: any way that you can pull the hose off the fuel pressure regulator and see if it smells like fuel? The upper intake must be removed to do that. Seems like the pressure is bleeding off qu...

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

When the ICM goes it will make a coil go bad and replacing that one leads to the replacement going bad too. My 90GT did that to me.

Here we go again with another forced upgrade. This kind of crap really sets me off. Just think about all the useful photos that are now no longer hosted on this site. If it was ten bucks a year that could be something(still a bit much). They would make more money with even ultra low cost hosting. Th...

Always makes me feel good to help good people. He is a real nice guy and fun to be around. All that and it is great to help out another Beretta owner(and a long time owner at that).

Re: Smooth Shifting?

Booger Bushings ® also fit some GM cars with the Getrag 282 and 284, ie Lumina Z34, Cutlass Supreme, etc. Many of these cars have only one cable and only use 2 small bushings. Continue on to the Order page to order these "1/2 sets". As someone with an auto trans and has forgot more than I'...

Re: Smooth Shifting?

Do they still make Booger Bushings? Those were said to help the feel of the shifter. Making it a bit tighter than the sloppy OEM bushings. Their site said that they were for a Dodge, but would work with GM FWD 5sp's too.
