Re: Major Coolant Leak Underneath Car (w/ pics)

Go from under the car and un-clamp the hoses. Taking out the condenser will NOT help you in any way.

Re: B'Fest times!!

Well my compression check was promising... 175 psi on each cylinder, so head down the motor is fine... so now I just need to pull the intakes and attack my lifters and inspect my cam for proper lift... that's gonna be fun. Should be 323/355 lift at the lifters... I have a gauge to check each lobe. I...

Re: Airbag Removal

We have state inspection here so I am sure they wont pass it with an airbag light. Just taking the bulb out wont work... removing the airbag bulb also dissables the SES light. Cant have that... Not true, I have a small wheel in my 95 that's OBDII swapped, my SES light still works and my airbag ligh...

Its a little rough, but yeah... remove the fan and you'll get better access with a wrench. It is kinda hard to see with the manifold in place so most of it's done by feel.

My 09 Pics.

I wasn't as much of a Picture whore as I usually am... I think I was annoyed and frustrated about the car after Thursday so I kinda forgot that I even had my camera. http://s257.photobucket.com/albums/hh201/3400modified/Bfest09/ http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh201/3400modified/Bfest09/IMG_2006....

Re: Bfest Drag Racing and Dyno videos

I know he's worried about it but only 47k or something I'm sure it would have survived just fine. ok, so teech me, and i will try to drag her...(or blow her head gaskit), the last compression i had was mid 140's to high 140's pauly I wanted to see dyno run...

Re: Another one in the books....

-watching Pinky run so lean that it's lucky to have all 6 pistons! -Richard Petty Motorsports tour... best value, plus it was SWEET to see how much really goes into cars that only turn left! :D LMAO... I'll have to get on that lean issue :) I averaged 26.5 mpg on the way home... and NO thats not be...

Re: Bfest Drag Racing and Dyno videos

Is there a dyno facility near Albany? Quickly searching I couldn't find anything through google, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist... I think we would have to ask around at performance shops to see what they know of or have. Not everyone is listed on google as a "dyno" that does have...

Re: Bfest Drag Racing and Dyno videos

People are too poor... LOL I saved the 60 bux since I KNEW I had an issue and just spent it on new lifters. I'll dyno it up here when its all back together.

Re: Bfest Drag Racing and Dyno videos

Man that drag strip made me sad... I don't regret upgrading my brakes this year though over tearing down the motor... I'll be digging into it at the end of this week, or early next week, I just ordered a set of brand new GM LS6 lifters too, so I will be attacking that first, after checking compressi...

Re: B'Fest times!!

At least it looks pretty this year. lol.

I don't know if I want to run the dyno, but it will tell me if there is a major issue. I'm thinking some of it may be due to my lifters possibly pumping down badly... But we'll see.
