Re: what did you do to your ride today?

As noted, It's too difficult for millennials to post on a forum platform... Facebook is "easier" so that's where all the traffic is. I hate it because you can't find historical information on there and there is no organization to the group... just a long list of posts, and re-posts and the...

Re: Finally...

A 3.4 DOHC? are you insane... they are hard enough to work on in a Grand Prix... never mind that small engine bay. And add in the little to no aftermarket that exists for those... Way too much hype on those engines for not much HP output.

This is 100% my experience with LED headlights in the Euro Beretta housings.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Never said they weren't brighter to they eye... But the light they throw on the road was just not as concentrated as a standard filament bulb... Maybe it was due to the brand I bought and the LED pads were not positioned in the best spot to reflect properly, but all I know is the road is lit up way ...

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Ok, I'm not going crazy... :)

I also tried the LED lights in my Euro housings... I was far from impressed on the light output from them... Looked cool, but did not provide enough light so that's why I went back to Silverstar bulbs... 9006xs and 9005xs... Not many brands make the XS version.

Re: Corsica misfiring after rain

It is 12-14v, but I would not just smack them to battery... IIRC the best thing to do is get a tool that will pulse them as they are designed to operate.

I don't believe it was the header panel that was in the way... I feel like it was the Euro headlight housing itself.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Getting the truck lenses for like an 88 GMC truck from LMC trucks allows to use the factory bulbs so you don't have to mess with the wiring. Just a heads up! Explain this one to me... With the 90* bend on the back of the stock bulb I was unable to use those with my LMC lights... I had to use the st...

Nah not really, that's what happens when you buy closeout parts... Always a gamble.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Are you positive the new ECM is good? Can't find any issues with the wiring? Jon mentioned on Facebook that it may be a corrupt tune file that's killing the ECM's, it makes sense. I put the tune in the new ECM, then can't connect anymore... I ordered another ECM, I should be seeing it in a week. I ...
