Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

Did some more testing and it definitely is more prone to locking the rears.

Nothing a prop valve and some -3AN tees can't fix... Found what I need on Summit. Would like to do that before I swap the new tires on.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

Won't do much good when there's already more brake than tire...

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

Brake testing with the old tires. Didn't measure the first run, but felt it lock them all and stop quickly. Put a chalk mark on the road in front of my dad's house right by a pole and measured out 100ft. I was guessing 125 range. First measured test was about 134 and slideways. Not quite sure why, b...

Cool spot for photos. Matches the vibe of the car. Makes it look bad ass.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

There's an SSZ emblem that looks pretty cool, but it has a chrome lip. It was like a 3yr option on Commodores and Maloos.

Tiff wants a Holden grille on her Cruze now. Should only be a few hunnit... She doesn't ask for much.

Yes, very sad. Build a big beautiful exhaust out of 2.5" pipe. It will be the greatest exhaust you've ever seen.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.

Gearhead-efi.com is a good resource for XDFs and info. If you're running $A1, the EGR setting is its minium temp, which I turned all the way up to 255.

The WOT setting is called the Power Enrichment, which you can actually set under WOT at a specified throttle %.

What mask are you running? And is it obd1 or 2? There should be a base pulse width parameter. I forget exactly where it is because it's been so long.

Tire Rack.

Same tires that a lot of the guys racing the Optima Ultimate Street Car series run.

Re: NC road trip to pick up my pickup

Got to play in the snow with it this week. Got 30" in about 24hrs and the roads were the worst I've ever seen. I had to chauffeur the wife to work at the ER in the LimouZine71. Never got it stuck though! And I was the only one who made it in to work for 2 days. haha http://i113.photobucket.com/...

Re: NC road trip to pick up my pickup

Had to fix the truck clutch. The fork and the pivot ball ate eachother. It looked ok until unassembled. Apparently it's a wear item for this setup! haha Clutch pedal felt like it was getting harder to push and it actually bent the fork too. Which was also eating the throw out bearing. http://i113.ph...

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

Had to pull her out early and DD it for a week while I fixed the clutch fork on my truck. Luckily the weather was mostly nice, 70 one day! I did have to drive through a couple hurricanes I think, but the hail was tiny and didn't hurt anything. Once the truck was done I put it in my old man's garage ...
