As he says, that rubber is just a trim piece, ok...what it does...it prevents dirt from getting inside.
The windshield is glued in, at this point it has to be sealed as well.

There has gotta be swaybar endlinks from anOther car that works for fe7. Almost every new car uses direct acting. Mostly only the rubber is worn out, if the joints are still fine you just swap the seals from another car...I am using some Volvo seals on the endlinks of my black 1991! I am sure there...

If I am correct, the FE7 suspension was gone with the GTZ, the Z26's were only FE3. I dont know if the Quad Z26 was an exception, but I dont think so.

Has anybody ever rebuilt a CS130 alt? well I guess so... I am not looking for 140 amps, I am looking for a long lasting reliable alternator.
