Gas mileage
... and that is the reason I said "under similar circumstances". If you have a Beretta with 2" exhaust, another with everything else identical but with 2.5" exhaust, both travelling down the highway at 60 MPH, the 2.5" will get better mileage. Of course if the engine brea...

Gas mileage
Your analogy makes no sense! It takes more effort to push the air out? Think about this. If you try to breathe through a straw, then try to breathe through a section of 1" PVC. Which way is easier to push the same volume of air out through? Better breathing should create better gas mileag...

New manafold+downpipe
Wow! I wish I knew that when I had to replace my cat last time! I would have had them go 2.5 the rest of the way!

Better exhaust for 90 gtz
I'm looking to maybe improve my exhaust on my 90 GTZ, but I'm not sure of my options. The part numbers and systems that are suggested on the main page seem to not be there. Can I get some up-to-date suggestions from people? Maybe even suggestions on how to get it done, like could I do it in stage...

It was done by a fairly reputable body shop. ÂÂÂ It took them 2 months all together to fix the car. Ã...

It's the second one. The whole painted body part that is moving. Both sides are doing it, which is what is curious, since there has never been any major suspension work done on the left hand side of the car.

Noise and movement of strut towers
That's why I am a bit concerned. I want to add the upper and lower braces, but I don't want to mask a more major structural problem.
Maybe someone out there will go test the car as I did and see if they see much movement on the strut towers. A non-braced car of course.

Noise and movement of strut towers
This is my 90 GTZ. I started to hear a "grinding" type noise in the front end, the right side to be more exact. I can hear the noise if I sit in the driveway and move my steering wheel past center. Anyhow, I decided to take it to my repair shop. They couldn't see anything right off, bu...
