Re: Boo I'm Back and Have another new beretta
I saw the pictures of the engine he is talking about here and it is definately NOT VVT. So I'm guess that it is NOT a 2010 G6 as he thinks it is.

Re: getrag 282 compared to 284?
Don't waste your time. There are no parts available for the 284, and whether it is actually a stronger transmission is questionable. It did receive something like a 25ft/lb higher input torque rating than the 282, but many people, myself included have proven the 282 able to handle power levels far h...

Re: any way to recalibrate a fuel guage?
You could just pop the needle off your gauge and put it back on so that it reflects what you actually have in your tank a little more accurately. It won't be perfect, but it beats screwin around with your sending unit.

Re: Camaro carb to EFI project
Woody, why you gently caressing around with this old ass crap? Do some reading on the LS engines. Guys are taking STOCK LQ4/LQ9 bottom ends, throwing L92 heads on and changing the cam, and are in the 550+hp range. You cannot beat it. It's like the arguement of building up an old 3.1 or swapping to 3...

Re: Conspiracy Theories: Aurora Colorado Shootings
Ryan, there are too many unanswered questions about this. How did he afford all of those guns, ammo, the bombs and armor?? He was an enemployed med student. How did he get access to the theatre? Through a magically unlocked and unalarmed door? Why did he willingly give him self up to the authorities...

Re: open stock tips
Jon, I think you might be thinking of something else. The stock tips are very restrictive, as the OP stated the outlets are restricted down to a hole about 1" in size. I've tried in the past to open them up, without any success. Perhaps a really good metal holesaw and some patience might do the...

Re: ABS Delete for 95 Z26
As Z26_T stated, this is a mod I did YEARS ago, and posted about it, but no one seemed to care. I have owned like 9 berettas over the years now, (both abs and non abs) and every single one has had a squishy brake pedal that travels too far IMO. Especially compared to newer GM vehicles where you bare...

Re: 225/50/17?
225/50 is way too big. Even if it fits it would look retarded. They are like a full inch in diameter bigger than the factory size.
I have 205/50-17 on my car and I think they even look too tall.

Nah, nothing will slip. Tons of contact area even on the alternator.

Re: WOT-TECH header feedback..
Knowing the build quality of your car, and your attention to detail, there is no way that you would have accepted those headers as is. It looks like a fucking retard painted them. If those are supposed to be TIG welds the guy has no idea what he is doing. And as Alpine quoted from john himself, the ...

Re: WOT-TECH header feedback..
And if your still that disappointed sell the headers and stop bitching about it because honestly I'm getting sick of hearing it and ONLY from YOU Last time I checked this is the feedback forum, and he is leaving feedback. I'd be damn pissed too if I waited THAT long for headers and they showed up l...

Yep, I believe they are 12 point hex so yeah at a quick glance would look like needle bearings.

Re: NVG T550 disassembly.
Kinda hard to see from the pic, but I think I know what you are talking about.
There hex head bolts there, they are reverse threaded though.
I had to buy a special hex drive socket IIRC it is 12mm. Used an impact gun to get em out.
