I'm well aware of that Eric, but I wanted to know exactly what adapters Barry used, since there is NO way he got a line made up that has the right ends already on it..

Re: The final reason my car was not at Bfest..

I got a line made up today for $20 bucks, but its gonna be a pain in the ass. Its 1/4 (-4an) line with 1/8 NPT ends on it. I don't have the proper adapter either... The one side is male 10x1.0 GM bubble flare (metric) and the other is female 1/4" double flare. Of course the metric side is the s...

If you don't mind sharing.. what parts exactly did you use? That way I don't have to go searching for adapters and what not..

Re: 3500 N/A auto in the 12's?

Eric put the car together, it was all his idea, he was the first 3500 swap when everyone said it couldn't be done. I helped build this engine yes, but he was right in there as dirty as I was. Yes I will be tuning it, and so far I have it starting and idling near perfect. I've been waiting for Eric t...

Re: Clutch Brands for Quads

The 3+ for the beretta is rated at 450ft/lbs. It may have been my imagination, but I thought I felt it slipping on me in 4th & 5th gear on the highway. Since I blew up the engine, and had everything apart anyways, I called Spec because they now offer a "super high clamp" pressure plate...

Re: Clutch Brands for Quads

Oh yes, I forgot about the fork. That may be your problem too. But if you get that far into it, you might as well replace the clutch anyways. Woody - it should be the same setup as your 91. I have a spec 3+ in my car, and thats good to know Barry that you have similar issues. My engagement seems to ...

Re: Clutch Brands for Quads

How stiff is the pedal? Like ridiculous? Air won't make the pedal stiff, it will make it soft. It is possible that you have a restriction in your hydraulic system, actually the more I think about it that is probably what your problem is. Have a look at all the lines, see if you can see anything that...

Re: Clutch Brands for Quads

You can't really go by pedal feel to judge how worn your clutch is - unless the pedal is going right to the floor and nothing happens.. There are other factors that come into play here. Not every pressure plate is created equal - and many different companies mix stronger pressure plates with less gr...

Re: Digital EGR

There is no connector on the vacuum egr, it is just that - vacuum controlled. Now IIRC there should be a solenoid controlling if and when the egr gets vacuum, and that is controlled by the computer, and no that would not be interchangeable with the new digital egr plug. You are going to have to run ...
