Thanks! I do fight rust a little, I have a lot of moisture is my garage. The weld through primer seems to help with it quite a bit, but its going to really suck removing it when it comes time to paint

Re: LS1/t56 swap
So on the aluminum blocks, one side has 6 mount holes, the other has 5. Not sure why.. or if they even are used in a factory application The flaming River are actually supposed to be pretty high end like borgeson. So I hope they are.. not sure ai would trust cheap ones for steering a car with me in ...

Re: LS1/t56 swap

Some were impossible to find... and worth gold.. I decided I didnt want to deal with that.. half the reason Im do...

If its not, I way as well just not finish the car! ill get something figured out for sure. I did a comparison on borgeson and flaming river chromoly DD jo...

Re: How to make coilovers - with options
Little late by a few years... I was running 600# springs all around wouldn't hesitate to daily it (if I still that setup). My daily currently has really high spring rates with koni yellows, Its my preference I guess. Others may hate it..

Re: LS1/t56 swap
I almost went with them actually! Was getting a quote to have them cut some the size I needed.. it was $1400 for me to cut it down.. they responded with ~$3500.. so I was going to just bite the bullet and cut it myself.. in this whole process of talking with them the price doubled on the sheet for m...

Re: Koni Yellow PN's Bilstein #'s
Has anybody looked into the koni 8610 or 8611? I know they make them in a few sizes, and they seem to be pretty common to swap into random autox cars. Might be worth a shot

Re: LS1/t56 swap
Thanks! Nothing wrong with "jeep" parts considering your doing a straight axle, probably the best way to do it for that application. They have that shape to go around the coilover. I think the s13 and 350z have a round hole in the center and goes around on both sides if that makes sense. S...

Re: LS1/t56 swap
Yeah, that's what I mean about moving the tie rod mounts. Probably go to the knuckle rather than the strut. I don't know if you could just relocate the rack, but I'd probably want a rack with a little more throw. Probably need something less bulky, too. I'll have to look back at his thread. I think...
