Got into a garage

Yeah it helped a lot. The bushings would be melted again by now with out it.  The rack was already to far gone to be saved.

rare custom beretta wing..

Where are you buying it from? I bought one of those like 5 years ago and never received it. The place never  responded to my emails or answered the phone.  I don't remember the place but if I see a name or something it might ring a bell.

Got into a garage

You got most of them right.  New downpipe (no more cast iron that weighs 50lbs),billet dogbone, hose and box behind the hose are for the new steering rack which is in the long box on the bottom. I figured I would replace the hoses while I have it out.  I don't know what I am going to use the heat sh...

Just got off the phone with them. They have them in the Arizona Distribution Center. I should have them in a week or two.

If I don't hear anything in a week or so I will see if they have the smaller ones and have them send me those instead.

I was thinking about slicks but haven chosen not to for a couple of reasons.

Don't want to have to trailer the car to the track or swap wheels at the track
Don't want broken axles at the track cause I have to drive the car home.

I am thinking about buying these

That would not be my first choice in material but it looks like you did a pretty good job. Like you said you wanted to be different.  What did you use for glue? I would image that material is fairly heavy.  I used some 3m spray adhesive my first time and it started falling within a week.  Second tim...

what rims to use for DR

I am debating what rims to use for drag radials.  I have a set of crosslace and a set of z26 wheels.  I am leaning towards the crosslace because I think they are lighter and I will be able to put a little bigger tire on it. The bigger the sidewall the better right?
