Re: Mini Van from hell
It wasn't fuel pressure related. I did check that out and replaced the pump about 30k ago. This FPR is a simple spring, which I inspected. The van drove and ran fine yesterday so I'm optimistic that it was the EGR that was bad. I still have to get it up to 55mph plus, cruise and see if I get a SES l...

The 13289 kit doesn't seem to have adapters, it looks like valves and caps only. I had bought a kit from Interdynamics which had a screw on adapter to go from threaded type connector to the quick click type connector. The high side kit looks like what you need to add a high side port. The cap is bla...

Mini Van from hell
I've had my 94 Lumina min van towed three times now. Most of my other cars have never been towed. The latest was the result of a brand new distributor's ignition module dying suddenly. I replaced it a month ago while trying to find the cause of a surging at cruise speed which felt like a misfire. I ...

Re: Trouble shooting help please
If you have already put an amp meter on the fuse connections and saw a drain of current, then you need to do that same hook up and go to the lights and cigarette lighter individually and wiggle wires and inspect looking for missing insulation etc. If you suddenly see no amps being drawn on the meter...

Re: Very Clean Yellow Indy on eBay
Nice looking car but I'm pretty sure a 4 speed auto isn't on the car like the listing says.
In addition, the sticker says it's a five speed manual trans so that sticker can't be from that car.

Re: K frame braces
You talking about the frame support arm that the control arm attaches to? You might want to say what year.
BTW, I got mine off Ebay. I tried here and on FB but no luck there.

Fuse 11 path from a 1990 service manual. You have to check and see what is drawing electricity.

Re: Really needed help troubleshooting
How do you know you are not getting RPM signal when the engine doesn't run? If you have spark, you must be getting RPM signal. As far as the short or shorts, look at the cigarette lighter, maybe something in there shorting it out. Maybe the side marker lights are full of corrosion too. The side mark...

On my 1988, #13 is instrument lamps. I think it would only have power if your headlight/parking light were on. I have no idea what you are asking with #7 #11. They are draining your battery? #7 is parking and side marker lights and license plate lamps. # 11 Is coutesy lamps, clock door locks cigaret...

I'd like to have something like that to knock around with.
So you gonna pull that motor and put it in the impala?

Maybe a picture of what you are talking about. There is a one piece metal louver near the windshield and wipers but I assume that is not what you want.

It might help if you specify what year you are looking for. Handle for early is not the same as later.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Last night I replaced the blower motor. Its been making noise for quite awhile and I just got tired of listening to it. Recently washed, buffed and polished my Indy so my wife could drive a clean shiny car while her FORD is back in the shop again for the umpteenth time. The Indy still looks good an...

The OD of the MAF is 3.1" OD one direction and 3.25" OD, at 90 degrees. 2 inch seems small to me.
I'll figure it out. If I use PVC, I can always paint it.
