Re: Interior Sound damping
I did this with the 91 and it was a noticeable improvement. 2014 I think when I did it. There's info in my build thread but the photobucket images are probably dead. I'll swing back here and add info when I get a sec.

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Keepin on keepin on. Got the wiring 100% finished. Now the key turns the car on & off and all the gauges work. I even fixed the trunk popper that needed to be in "park". haha https://youtu.be/iWSmuRs3MpE Found some nice little surprises. Being a 96 actually simplified some of the wirin...

Jay has been tuning OBD1.5, but I know he was still interested in this swap.

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
It lives again! Got the DIY stainless fuel tank done. Fits nicely and leaves a decent trunk with 17gal capacity. It's 14g 304SS and on the heavy side, using the factory fuel pump module with a Walbro 255HP. I don't love that the filler is inside the trunk, but I couldn't come up with a better way to...

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Rear suspension completely finished! Had my buddy laser some brackets to relocate the lower control arms and panhard bar at the lower ride height. Converted LCAs to rod ends on one side and welded more bracing on the torque arm. Also bent some 3/4" plates to strengthen the driveshaft tunnel str...

I thought all the LTZ had them...maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Thanks man. The style strut bar I made definitely wouldn't clear the coil packs or the brakes in the stock application.
New plasma video coming soon. I'm almost done with it.

Re: Factory GTZ style seats in a Corsica(ish)?
Yup, the LTZ Corsica had the GTZ-style seats, so it doesn't surprise me there was a Canadian equivalent. They are slightly different than Beretta seats, because they don't lean forward for rear seat access like Berettas do. They do bolt right in though. I know there have been a couple Corsicas with ...

Re: How much maintenance to give?
But isn't H2O required to sustain life? My father has always preached the "buy once cry once" and "if it's worth doing it's worth doing right" kind of philosophy. And he also never finishes anything. Haha. And here I am with the 10yr "perfect" Camaro project. I've...

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Guess I forgot to post my "rear subframe" video. Worked out pretty nice as some new rear structure to be able to clearance the unibody for lower ride height and move the coilover mounts up to keep my full shock travel. It's also going to be a nice solid mount for the fuel tank but that wil...

Oh and you can also see I got the truck cruise control box mounted, just like I did with my 91. Plugs right into the Beretta harness. Gotta love GM!

Re: Back to Berettas after 15+ years
Yeah, there's just something about Berettas...they feel like "home" to me. But...I'm on #4 with only a 3 month gap in ownership over a 20-yr period. I haven't street driven a Beretta in over a year, though, and it's really weird. I miss it.
