Re: Getting new Lowering Springs... Now what Struts/Shocks?

Negative. On RWD cars, that's more the norm, but with a MacPherson strut, you only need the spring to lower the ride height.

Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see

Wow... that took a turn for the worse quick.

At least this way, you can do a reseal/rebuild on the motor and ensure that everything is new or rebuilt and should, in theory, be trusted.

Re: Hard to start after fuel injector replacement and other running issues

If you have a gas smell near the PS pump, my first place to check would be the schrader valve on the end of the fuel rail. Could be leaking past the o-ring. Also, when the car is running, take the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator. It will stumble but shouldn't stall out - if there is gas ...

Re: Koni Yellow PN's Bilstein #'s

Another option is 93-02 F-body shocks. I'm using them on my rear with the J-body rear axle; all you need to do is press out the bolt and insert a tube for the bolt to go through.

Re: Beretta Convertible on ebay?!?

There is a gentleman that randomly posts on here about having convertible spoilers for sale (not cheap) - he bought the stock from Cars and Concepts when they closed down. Search for Ken Hahn and you should find his number, starts with 586 I believe.

Re: New to the site.Looking for Dodge neon rear disc set up

Hey Justin, welcome! I remember talking to you in Milwaukee last year, or maybe it was your friends, but somebody showed me these pictures of the cars.

Do you need just the brackets? Or everything (pads/rotors/calipers/parking hardware/parking shoes/etc)?

Re: My car is rusting. What to do?

If you're seeing rust in the body under the paint, the underside of the car (rear spring perches, between the rear spring perches, in the door jams under the hinges and the rocker panels) is going to be worse. Best thing in my opinion to do is to leave it alone - you'll be wasting money on repairing...

Re: Will this Strut Tower brace fit?

You'll have to make your own then, or hope that one you find online will work right. That style you linked I believe clears the firewall covers.

Re: Will this Strut Tower brace fit?

MRZ hasn't made a strut tower brace in years - I don't think Mathieu even has his car anymore. Those braces linked could work, but I'd be weary if I were you - there were two different patterns in the strut mounts for those year J-body's - I want to say pre-91 were different than 91-94. Your best be...
