I love to ride; any time the weather permits I'm on the bike.  Saves a lot of money riding to work instead of driving the truck too.

It's probably an 88 or 89 then; 88 was the first year for the VLX model.

It's a 1991; I bought it last June with 2,469 miles on it. Some old lady actually had it and hardly every took it out.

Just thought I'd show off part of the tax return for this year. I picked up a set of Cobra 1 5/8" slash cut drag pipes for the Shadow. Very happy with them so far, they sound sweet and make the bike look much better too imho. And yeah... I know the bike is ridiculously dirty; I'm gonna get it p...

Rex's or Choate's GTZ probably still holds the BNet quarter mile record, but I'm a bit behind the times on stuff so someone may have put down a faster time since then.

I've always preferred the nice clean lines of the base... I'm usually not a real big fan of ground effects or body packages on many cars in general though.

The previous owner may not have maintained it very well either...  good maintainence can either make an engine last a very long time while neglect can trash it early.

Yeah, that price is pretty astronomical, even considering it has semi-low mileage.  

I only paid $5000 for my '94 back in '99.  This is 9 years later and someone's asking more than that for one that's 4 years older.

Nice vehicle collection, make it harder when you're trying to work on a bunch of stuff at once though... I know your pain there  

Ah, I was unaware of that. I never really got into the details on a lot of the models other than ground effects, engines, etc.

I guess it makes sense though with the OEM label though

Word of mouth is really all I can think of, and try to throw up some links on any other boards you visit.  Submit it for google, yahoo, etc to try to get a bit more traffic.

Figured I'd post the exhaust on my truck in here. It has dual 3" pipes going through Flowmaster 14" round race mufflers that go back into side exits

Not a big fan of the red inserts, but other than that they look very nice.  

The matte black into chrome is a nice touch.
