Flooding
Howdy, just thought I'd throw this topic up for everyone to check out. It's nothing super unusual I guess, but I find it interesting. We've had some crazy weather here over the last week that has resulted in some major flooding in some areas. It was actually below zero and we had quite a bit of snow...

I agree... hard to believe I'm going on 5 years since it's been on the road. My last plates on it expired in 2003

Yes they do, but be prepared to go through a lot of transmissions and transfer cases if you do a lot of heavy wheeling with them, cause they don't handle large tires well, even if you lower your gears. Samurai Mud Video It's lifted 4 inches with 33" tires and I had water coming in through the d...

I have the exact same problem... too many projects and not enough money to give them all enough attention at once. It's hard enough just to focus on one at a time.

CORBRETTA is born!
Sorry to hear the Corbretta plans didn't pan out, that woulda been a sweet car. I had thought about trying that route (dropping the car onto a frame), but I couldn't find anything that was an exact fit, that's why I'm going the unibody with subframes route. Well, I should say... was going.... I'...

Haven't been on in a while, but I thought I'd post some pictures of the progress I've made on that Ford. Unfortunately it's been slower going that I'd hoped for... pretty much whatever can go wrong has. Plus I've just kind of been lazy on top of it, which isn't helping. Anyway... I found a 302 that...

How many watts are you pushing?
I'm just pushing 140 through my head unit now, I sold my system years ago. Back in the day I had 4x50 and 2x150 amps powering my stuff if I remember correctly. That's been so long ago I could be wrong though, I know they weren't huge though. My subs were actually considerably underpowered.

Midwest Meet July 27th-29th
I'll actually be passing by the area on those days, but I'll be on my way to Minnesota for vacation. Plus there's that whole fact that my Beretta isn't going anywhere under its own power for quite a long time.

good muffler brands
I'm a fan of the Thrush MiniTurbos and the Hooker MaxFlow mufflers. Actually, I'm not really a fan of mufflers period, but those are about the best I've found for tone. It's really just a matter or personal opinion, one man's noise is another's music.

Just bought a Beretta
Welcome to the community, it's not as active as it once was, but you should be able to find all the help you need around here. There's a lot of members with an incredible amount of knowledge who are always willing to help. Sounds like you got a pretty fair deal on that 96 given the condition; how ma...

My newest project
I like the house, but the garage is completely insufficient. It's full and all that's in it is the Beretta. I can't even get my Samurai or the Ford into the door cause it's only 7" high.

Yeah, the list of to-do on it isn't that long either, just expensive.
1. Engine (going fairly mild, aiming at 350ish HP)
2. Trans rebuild (just to be safe)
3. Heater core
4. Tires (206.99 each)
5. Brake shoes and turn down drums.
6. New shifter, I hate the B&M in it now.
That's all it needs.

I've lost a lot of weight actually. Back in my BFest days I weighed between about 260 and 280, and now I weigh in right around 190.
