Introduction....
I suppose I should have done this long ago. Many of you won't remember me from my service, years back (about 5) but I made a long overdue appearance at Bfest this year. Some told me it was long overdue. I was only 1 of two Medium Garnet GTZs that attended for many years. (Pride being the second) I w...

Re: need to hop up 2.8
The 2.8 is out of a comaro. its now in my beretta and they are both front wheel drives. the motors are the exact same but the one from the comaro has 10 more hp because the car is heavier. i took the motor out of the comaro my self and put in the beretta because its in better shape then the comaro....

Re: Struts and springs
What ever happened to liking Eibach springs? Sure your not dragging your muffler on the ground, but it offers lowered stance, and better performance (just a tweak better then gtz springs and lower to boot)

Re: OVERHEATING PROBLEM! HELP NEEDED ASAP!!
you should replace you thermostat and your waterpump might not be doing its job try that It was already stated that the thermostat was replaced. Water pumps usually are belt driven (as is the case here), so unless it starts to leak I'd look towards something else as root. Could be something easy as...

Re: air condition conpres
I'm glad that in the 2 years that have come and gone, you were able to replace the part and let us know. Could have done it without name calling though... Just an FYI, you will get more help if you simply SLOW DOWN, write in complete sentences, and not call people names. Usually better then calling ...

Re: need to hop up 2.8
Easy fellas, Let us help explain the motor instead of jumping right to making fun on someone for not using spell checker (Which I really recommend!) The Camaro with a 2.8 was not really too fast, good enough to lay a small patch perhaps, but not barn burning fast. Besides that, the engine really won...

No, the defective parts should be replaced.
There are many ways to make the exhaust on a quad sound nice, removing the cat is not one of them...

Event 6 - WAI - Miller Park
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ME9s0rQZ-M Yet another video! I modified the camera mount so you can actually see the track, but now it bounces a bit more then I'd like. Oh well, it will work for the rest of the season. Had 4 national champs running in the same class, ended up holding 10th with thi...

Soo... what? This is just sitting unlocked in a parking lot somewhere? Wouldn't it be better to eat the $50 to tow it home and sell it?

This should be used in addition to the cat and muffler - not in exchange of.

Event 5 - WAI - Miller Park
A little in cam action - camera mount isn't high enough to see the cones. Still have to modify it.

Re: Took my Black LD2 GTZ to the strip
Stock times for a GTZ with the HO is 16.0 - 15.9 - I don't think you have the LO cams, unless you have done something else to the engine that I don't know about. When I raced against Prides car, both with the stock setup pulled 16 flats a few years back (louisville).

Re: Bfest Drag Racing and Dyno videos
I wish one of the other 6 Quad rettas would have dynoed for comparison on my numbers. Pat from WI had W41 cams in his, Cam's Quad is damn near new, and the rest of the HOs would have been nice to see what they all put down. Coolant leak issues, or I might have done it to see where I was sitting. I ...
