Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
Since I'm in the market for a new clutch, I looked at what options are still available. Since the oem style clutch that I was using came apart, I wanted to go with something better. At the recommendation of many members here, I went with a Clutchmasters FX-300 (Stage 3) kevlar unit. I don't really n...

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
My kit was 140-8423-B which included the black calipers and solid rotors. I've seen it for just over $700 recently online.banzai92gt wrote:You guys have done some CRAZY mods on these cars.

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
With the transmission out of the car, I was able to easily install the new select arm rebuild kit from Rodney Dickman. It reduced the slack in the selector by more than ~90%. Can't wait to try it out!

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
Well, Project WTF lives up to its name again! Sort of. I initially named it that because when I got the car the previous owner sold me the car without and installed engine/trans and claimed to include all of the original stuff with the car -- which I later discovered was a lie. I had to source much ...

Re: Options for Leather shift knob and shift boot??
I finally got around to installing a leather boot a few weeks back. I'm really happy with it (especially over the stock joke). I went with a 4thgen Fbody leather boot. I basically used the 4 screw holes on the bottom of the shift place to attach the boot to the underside and then used a special leat...

Re: Cowl hood Group Buy
Nope - Just a standard Beretta shape with an integrated cowl (C4 corvette style). Awesome hood.GT_Indy wrote:Is the cowel hood functional like the Z24 hood on the cavalier? Does it have any vents that help cool the engine?

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
Did you ever get a chance to try some panic stops with the abs working? Not yet - In fact, I've tried to be gentle on the brakes because I'm getting some pretty monstrous vibration or something whenever I brake. I haven't been able to determine if it's coming from the front or rear, but it feels al...

Re: Plate Frames
I'd be interested, but wouldn't want something cheesy. Something as simple as www.beretta.net or the BerettaNet logo would be awesome. Subtle is the name of the game.

Re: Cowl hood Group Buy
I spoke with Jim @ USBody today and he's still interested in building these. The price dropped to $449/ea. They are located in Florida. If we can get a few people interested, Jim said he could probably give us an even better deal.

USBody Cowl Hood - Price reduced $100
I spoke with Jim @ USBody today and inquired about their cowl hood for the Beretta. Jim advised me that they have recently dropped the price on their Beretta hood - it is now just $449 ($100 savings!). If you've been holding off buying one of these - now is the time. Freight is additional but I may ...

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
Almost forgot - I finally had my exhaust system fully done. I took the car to a local speed/tuner shop and had them install a stainless 2.5" mandrel bent system complete from the manifold back. Most of the system was part of the cat-back group buy from a couple years ago. To try to keep the ter...

Re: 1993 Quad4 GTZ: Project WTF
Now that BerettaFest is over, the cat is out of the bag. I bought a new set of wheels a little bit ago to replace my Whistlers that I was running before. The new wheels are Rays RS-Zero wheels which were the factory JDM STI wheel from ~18+ years ago. They are a forged wheel and weigh just 15.6lbs an...

You can upload pics directly to this site.... .... ... .. . .. Do you need instructions Brian? ABS been doing it since 96... But two years ago I was labeled as not cool... should delete it... Did you install the 3" kit on an NA Quad? I have his kit as well but thinking 3" is waaaaaay overkill at this point, considering I'm NA.
