Re: What is your breaking point? (Owning the Beretta)
the breaking point for me is when rust gets too far... I've repaired my fair share, but when the rear subframe is holey and just about rotted out above the axle, and the inner rockers are completely deteriorated and you feel and hear the car (doors) move/flex under the tension... the firewall is alw...

Re: I Have Returned! 95 Base Project
always wondered how the z24 spoiler would look on a beeretta... an now i'm glad i didn't buy one. the stock spoiler always looks decent. I ended up with a fiero gt spoiler, and was able to chop enough off the stock posts to lower it ("stealth mounts" were made at some point, but impossible...

Re: Engine Block
if you're not a member there, you won't see it... i didn't bother logging in, as i'm not sure if i'm a member or not, but just from reading quick it's an aluminum block that is 47 lbs lighter than the iron rwd block (so what about the fwd blocks?), unless you already need a new block, i can think of...

Re: Shorter Antenna?
some car covers actually have a small opening for the antennae as well. you might try getting a large bottle of hot sauce or maybe alkaselsor? mix it in with some bird seed, birds love that crap

Re: Which rims would you choose?
oh they killed the look with all the other bolt pattern holes... still looks good though.
and just to give some an idea... my 18"S with 225/45R18 tires that are SMOOTH give my car near a 1" lift...
you are not going to fit anything over a 19" on a beretta.

Re: Decided to sell the 96 Z26
Hold out Ron. You'll find someone prepared to pay what's right for this beautiful car. although, i don't know why you don't get rid of your red one instead... you like the red over the white? or think you're not worthy of the perfect whiteness? lol

Re: diy dew strips?
if i didn't have perfect dew strips on my new project beeretta, i would be scrounging the junkyard for all dewstrips off of any car that has a similar length door... and making something work... i can't see it being that much of a pain. (much more of a pain than replacing with stock anyhow...)

Re: back in black.. err.. Garnet!
Yes, same car i drove to visit you. waterpump impeller sheared off the shaft a day before that trip... drivers steering rack mounting point rusted off the firewall recently. I welded it and added in more metal bracketry to get me through... till next time she says. that's what you get for a $600 car...

Re: back in black.. err.. Garnet!
Well, it tries to commit suicide every couple months, but I somehow get a bit more life out of it... hope to make it to spring with little more than oil changes and some new brake pads... we'll see what she has planned though.
