Re: -88 GT

I've got bad results removing the stock 2-cell cat converter from V6, ruined the sound with any muffler I've tried..

Btw if you run rich all the time, you'r injectors are leaking, common for the types gen-2 engine uses.
I got a almost-new set for sale that has about 10 000km on them :)

Re: Getrag shift cables

Well if you would have started selling them 10 year ago, 300 would have been easier, most of these 30 year old cars are scrapped now.. There are at least 2 variations in Beretta's, I can maybe provide some photos later if i still have both on my inventory. I'm sure that could be dealt with by using ...

Re: Finally...

I remember reading that these engines were significantly detuned because of transmission worries. But I'm sure it will fun to drive as DOHC engines tend to be :) Even if not it would not be that fast.

Re: From super loud to no sound

Funny that you brought this post up, I just recently modified my white's car another muffler to make it more quiet, I must be getting old. http://berettaspeed.com/weba/beretta/90GTZ/mufflermod2-1.JPG Adding perforated pipe inside the muffler, I'll upload a picture of a final product later. (didn't t...

Re: -88 GT

So your car now has start&stop ;) ? It's located in the transmission, some work to change, never done it, swapped in 5spd manual instead.

Anyhow, amazing job man, not many of us is ready to go all the way with restoring these old cars, specially small bits like window trims and stuff always get forgotten.

I'm glad your wife still loves the car after 20 years. Maybe with all that work you can squeeze another 20 out of it :)

Hey and welcome.

Thanks for saving the car,

I'm surprised the interior isn't moldy from after all that sitting, or was it indoors all the time?

Re: Camaro paint job...after almost 10 years

Taking your time with this I see, can't wait for the 'final' product :)

I sneered a bit to aerodynamic modding for something that's has the aerodynamic design of a barn to begin with, but I guess everything is improvement then :)
