Re: Adding the overhead console?
A super 77 help just fine. It really didn't fall everywhere, I just needed to tighten the headliner up where I had to make my cuts for the console. The console suspends the areas of the headliner that had to be trimmed. In any case, it's very likely that I'm going to need to replace my headliner som...

Re: Adding the overhead console?
Forget some reason these LED festoons (tested fine) don't seem to work but the Incandescents do. As I understand it, the black and white wires are grounds (switched) and the orange is constant +12volts. Ideas? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180723/552712d87d26b4eda16916ea89a6edaf.jpg Sent from m...

Re: Anyone have ideas on fitting wide wheels????
That will be extremely difficult with stock suspension. DO a search I think you will find better choice(s)... Why that wide though? Did tons of searches. Finally found a decent wheel that I liked in 17x7.5. It's a factory JDM Subaru STI wheel from ~2000 The search was long and expensive, but I am f...

Re: 891 Light Bulb, is there an LED option?
I don't have any input but I am curious as well. Aaron and I were talking about this at Bfest but I never found out what bulb he was talking about.
I'm not sure what the factory bulb's output is but 120 lumens x 4 bulbs isn't exactly dim.

Re: Adding the overhead console?
Well, the bracket itself wasn't too bad to install. The original ground for the rear view mirror map lights located one of the holes to get it started. It did require a bit if cutting to the headliner... and of course, my 25 year old headliner adhesive decided to fail all over the place when I touch...

Re: Options for Leather shift knob and shift boot??
I got the shifter arm modified. I was originally going to modify the Grand Am shifter arm that I've been using for a while (since it was already threaded) but I decided to modify the stock Beretta arm instead. The MR2 shift knob is a M12x1.25 thread unlike the Grand Am, which is M16x1.50. I went dow...

Re: What kind of muffler do you have?
I recently had my exhaust redone on my Quad4. I'm running 2 resonators, an Aero Turbine and a Vibrant Ultra Quiet (p/n 1141, and a Magnaflow 4x9 oval muffler (p/n 11256). Sounds decent, although it is a bit loud at high revs.

Re: Why Beretta?
As a kid in the 90s, I remember seeing a white GTZ from the school bus every morning back in ~1992. Always thought it was something cool; something special. In 1999 when it was time get a first car, my parents found a 2-for-1 deal on 2 Berettas, a 1990 GT for me and a 1990 base for my sister. I didn...

Adding the overhead console?
Forgive me if I missed it but I did do a search but came up empty handed.
Has anyone installed an overhead console in their car that didn't come with one originally? I'd like to install one in my '93 GTZ but have no idea what's involved. Anyone?

Re: Options for Leather shift knob and shift boot??
I received the new leather shift knob from http://www.super-klasse.com today. Although it is made for an MR2, it will work nicely in the Beretta once I weld an M12x1.25 bolt onto the shift arm. Quality seems very good with this shift knob. It's weighted - definitely a lot heavier than I was expected...

Educate me on N20 kits
Alright - we all know how nitrous helps an engine produce power. But - I've never investigated a kit for any of my cars - primarily because I don't know enough about the kits that are available or how they work [exactly] on a car. I get the basics of a bottle, supplying nitrous via jets/nozzles but ...

Re: How to make coilovers - with options
Woot! I was going to build a set for myself but then I just decided to steal the coilovers off another car in my garage.
