Re: Well... its time to retire

I'll be somewhere in the 13.9-14.8 range, I have no doubt about it. And do you really think I'll only be a tenth quicker than my black car was? Does the LGT has Brembos or regular Legacy brakes like Tiffany's? It almost looks like 18s in that pic you posted, but I could be wrong. edit: Nvm I just to...

Re: Well... its time to retire

Just did a quick google search and it looks like stock Legacy GTs run 13.9-14.8. Pretty much on par with the SS! haha

Re: Well... its time to retire

Slap your Beretta 17s on it just to see how it looks! It's is screaming for black wheels. Tiff is gonna be jealous...she fell in love with Geoff's.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

New shoes are on: Sumitomo HTR-Z II 225/45/17s. I need to source some new center caps because the old ones had flaking "chrome" plating. Whatever I end up with will get sprayed flat black with a gloss black center w/ red bowtie. I also have the black lug covers once I get everything button...

Re: Well... its time to retire

Yeah, older Silverados are pretty sweet! Slow as balls, but really quite handy to have around.

Re: Well... its time to retire

I was a 14hr drive away when my 95 got hauled to the crusher. Probably a good thing too!

Jon hates Camaros so it's not that. He was looking at Subarus at one point I know...but I hope it's not that Jap crap.

Taurus SHO?! haha

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

Got my Fuzions via UPS today and gave Tiff's old tires a good look before mounting and found two nails and a staple! They held air on her car fine and didnt give her any issues...but screw that. I also thought hers had good tread, but after looking at the new ones I was wrong, they are not even half...

Re: Upgrade To 12

Even my stock N-Body replacement pads and rotors from AutoZone are worlds better than the same on the original brake setup (mind you, I was coming from the smaller 87-91 ones) Likewise. I'm on the 87-91 setup and those are terrible. Makes my 15's look big. Also, Heavywoody mentioned on his post tha...

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

Talked to a paint expert and he said it would be pointless to bake them since it is a catalyzed system. Tires will be here today, so I'm hoping to get them mounted tmo. I also got some upholstery work done on my other door panel, just need to reassemble.
