Re: WANTED: UPPER & LOWER DOOR MOLDINGS

No problem. Tool from Dickys, or a welder and a short philips bit will do the trick too. As I said, I have removed them before without taking out the glass.

Re: WANTED: UPPER & LOWER DOOR MOLDINGS

I will check on that. I have pulled them off the red base I had without too many issues. Just had to roll the glass down, pull the strips. Might have expanded the sill to make more room for the screws, but it wasn't overly difficult.. Tough but doable. Already have pulled the mirror on the pass side...

Here is a random for you. Any J.R.R. Tolkien Geeks on here?

Any of you on the forums? I think I found a heck of a set of the trilogy books. Pictures here: http://art.cariboucomputers.com/ring01.jpg http://art.cariboucomputers.com/ring02.jpg These are UNOPENED, and appear to be from 1978. I have been poking around online, haven't found the same set anywhere, ...

Re: WANTED: UPPER & LOWER DOOR MOLDINGS

Update: Did you still want the trims for around the windows? The ones on the base are in nice enough shape, if you are interested. I was starting to offer the top ones to somebody and I remembered you wanted a set and had asked first...! Let me know. I was going to do the upper ones (pair) for $40 s...

Re: 1990 GTZ fog lights ain't working!! Help

Yep, agreed with both. And having rebuilt my fog lights before, its very easy for the bulb holder to rust to the point where it won't make a contact with the housing and complete the circuit. Quite common. I used to go through fog bulbs about every 30-40k it seemed. Then it got to the point where th...

Re: MI 49725 - 1995 Black Base being parted out.

I could go for the side outside upper window moldings on both sides if the price is right.. save me a trip to the yard :P. The ones that go around the top of the doors correct? I can pull those. Lets see, that would need a long enough box, but not a big box.... hmmmmm And those are in nice shape, n...

Re: My Legacy Rebuild...

From what I understand, (and I can be corrected I'm sure). When you have the block redone like Jon is doing, they are probably going to work over the bearing journals and seats. The cylinders. The head will probably be milled (just enough to make it flat again) etc. Crank may get a slight trim on th...

Pulled a bunch of parts off the base. Lots of good parts left, including exterior trims, interior parts (arm rest) stuff like that. Hit the sale thread or pm me for requests.
