I have a 1/24 plastic model of a beretta gtz that I put together as a kid, it came with this hood. Just wondering if anyone knows more about this hood, was it prototype, or just something the model kit company did? Any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance  Linky

pics would certainly help, as far as know, the only ones who make a model of the beretta are amt, and every kit ive seen has only had the regular hood on it, sure its not a cavalier hood? post a pic, that would certainly help out. your pic isnt working btw.

yeah, I have the same one, it's strange cause mine has a optional turbocharger in addition to the hood and custom body kit.

Yeah I have a model that came with optional turbo setup.  Definitely not a stock hood on berettas.

So it looks like this hood was only made for the model kits, but I'm shocked that no one has ever custom built this hood in real life, would be nice to see, if anyone can photoshop it , I for one would like to see it. Thanks so far to everyone who has helped shed some light on this

Would be very easy to do. Pick up a set of louvers like the ones on Ebay posted by 6r8 above. Trace, cut, insert. fiberglass as needed. Sand, prime paint, clear coat, done. You  could probably complete this in a day.
