Which window tint % combo would you guys recommend?

Which percentage combo would you guys recommend? For reference my GTU is black and I'm in PA.

I was thinking maybe something like 20-35% front and 5% rear.

None because any tint in PA is illegal... The pulled my CT registered car over and tried to ticket me.

On a serious note, 35% on the fronts 20% on the rear... 5% on the back is just too dark if you ask me... I can't see a think out the back of my car and somewhat regret doing the 5% all around. I should have only done 20%

I always do 15% on my cars and I'm happy with it. Like Jon said though, anything is illegal, so don't be surprised if you get hassled for it.

Have any skin problems? You can get a medical waver for tint in PA if you really want to put that much effort into it. You will still get pulled over but shouldnt get a tint ticket.

i agree having really dark tint 5% on the rear of a previous car... looks amazing... but especially at night with no moonlight, and add rain, you cant see anything behind you. if you are happy rolling down your windows to see others near you (and breaking the law in your state!), the darkness. but yes, 15%-20% is good

I vote 5 on the rear ond 15-20 on the rear window so you can see backing up, but I would put 5 on the fronts too, I can see out of my firebirds windows at night and they are 5 and during the day when a/c is blowin it's alot cooler. My chevelle has 20 all the way around and trust me I wish I would have done it in 5 cause it's not dark enough, of course other people are different because I like Boone being able to see me during the night and day, if you do tint them yourself I recommend the auto expressions best tint it has a extra metallized layer which gives it more of a mirrish look, but the best has the extra layer and it appears kinda gold where the better only has 1 layer and appears chrome like, but you can only get that in the 5%. Another brand that's good that you can get at walmart is black magic that what I tinted my firebirds windows with and i love it it's faded a tad bit from being in the sun alot but you can barely tell.


Edit: oh and I forgot to mention I don't get bothered by cops over here state boys look at my cars all the time but never do anything and the city cops don't either

it would look really goofy going from 0 tint on the windshield (although if the rest of the car is dark tint, the interior will be super dark as well... no light brightening it up!), you need to have that rhythm of light to dark... not light to dark to medium... it'll just look funny.

5% rear 25% fronts thats what i have in my z24 and was looking for good non fading tint to try laying tint on 92 retta gt and if i like it lay some on the z26
