Suspension compadibility
Hey guys, I came across a mid 90's Grand Am with the FE3 suspension and wondered if it could work on our L body's. I know that they are pretty similar platforms but I was curious as to what years will work if they do at all.

Sway bars should work... I'd snag them regardless. Can anybody verify this as well?

The entire front suspension is the same design. I have 93 Grand Am subframes, control arms and spindles on my 95. Along with 94 Sunbird mani-tranny axles.

That's what I thought but was unsure. Been trying to piece together something to improve my base suspension. A pity I can't get the Eibachs anymore.90GTZHO wrote:The entire front suspension is the same design. I have 93 Grand Am subframes, control arms and spindles on my 95. Re: Suspension compadibility
Canucks are still available for '88-'94 cars.
Part number is 2122-41100.
Front 1.7" drop
Rear 1.75" drop
$169.95
I had them on my 3500 swap and I honestly thought they were a better product than the Eibachs that are on my Quad.

Re: Suspension compadibility
From what I've read they sound good, my concern is how low it is. On crappy roads how much punishment will the ride be to my backside?

Re: Suspension compadibility
On really crappy roads the Canucks will punish you, but overall I still think they are a great product.
You can't have both at least with our level of suspension and the options available..

This is how the Canuck's sit on mine with 225/45R17's, but yes, bumpy roads are not fun with them on. You do get inner fender rub too.

Thanks for the info! That's a little too low for my tastes, think I'll go with the FE3 springs I poached from that grand am I found.
