I would like to get a bunch of contributions to this so we can document the ride heights of various spring combos on various cars/drivelines as well. This will give people a better idea what spring will do what.

My contribution so far..

1990 Indy 500 3.1/3spd Auto Eibach/Koni combination(225/50/16 Tires on stock 16" rims(24.9"DIA)) 25¾" Front 26" Rear. Circa 2013 (Brians Group buy) 2014 installed for Bfest.

1996 Z26 Conversion 3500/4spd Auto Eibach/Koni combination(225/45/17 Tires on 17" rims(25"DIA)) 25⅝" Front 26" Rear. Circa 2008 installed

I will probably add Canuck height for the 1996 before summer may also order a set for the Indy but not sure.

Photos to come, but I measured to the highest point of the wheel arch... which typically works out to being in line with the center of the wheel.

Might help to have a picture or two to show people where to measure correctly so we can compare apples to apples.

What I was thinking as well, because I don't know if there is an "official" definition of ride hight.
Shouldn't it optimally be measured from the body to the center of the wheelhub, to rule out custom tire/wheel sizes?

Yes, exactly. This is the standard measurement I have always seen before.

Mine is put away right now, but I'll get over there and get a measurement soon.

We could do it that way... But I'm leaning towards having a list of combos up there so people can see it... by all means get that measurement but I think the easiest one for most to understand is from ground to top of wheel arch. Rim combo's shouldnt change that number by much unless someone is rocking a "tire" larger than 24.9-25" in diameter... that is the stock size. My fear is how accurate will people be measuring to the center of the wheel hub? Might be an easier number to do as I stated above and just list your tire size so we can verify that if it's and off size. Most of the popular combos will be 24.9 to 25, Referring to 205/55/16, 225/50/16, 225/45/17 and so on.

I added my wheel/tire sizes to my above list.

Just now getting back after AT&T dropped me for not upgrading.

Could you measure the floor pan to ground or something better like the front subframe to ground? The frame is the key point. It's the place that scrapes first if you are too low.

The subframe always rides the same in comparison to the wheel arch so if you go off that number then you'll get an understanding. For example if someone posts FE7 or FE3 heights then you can safely assume the 1" or 1/2" drop between those numbers and my Eibach or someone's Canuck is the same for the undercarriage as it would be for the wheel arch. I want to try and keep this as simple as possible and not just gum it up with a bunch of different numbers.

suspension lowered, no info with what.
ride height, front 25 1/8", back 26 1/8", the back does bottom out on bumps, pot holes, the wider then oem tire hits the edge of the fender lip.

Ok I understand. Damn helpful to go with the frame on the Cavy so I knew what size of plastic ramps to buy just to get the jack under it. Guess that could come later if needed.

1993 GT, 3.1, 3 speed auto, FE2.
Springs: OEM, Struts: OEM
Tires: 225/45-17 Wheels: 17" x 8"(?) Milla Miglia

Front: 26 1/2"
Rear: 26 1/2"

More proof that things sag with age. Was going to order Canucks, but I'm almost there!

I will measure my '91 Quad with 20 year old Eibachs later today and post the numbers.

Measured the Quad today.

1991 with 20 year old Eibachs/ KYBS and 225/50/16's on GTU wheels.

Front is 25"

Rear is 25 1/2 inches.

Rides just fine on good roads, but I pay on bad ones, LOL!

Me and brian noticed the stock gtz springs may actually sit lower then eibachs.
