Rear Spring Help!

Post by Kalltorak »

New owner of a 1989 GTU here,

I need some help with the rear springs. I have purchased the Canuck lowering kit for the car and intend to replace all the rubber, shocks/Struts and mounts while I have the suspension apart. So to my question. I see in the rear suspension break down that there are Isolators on the bottom of the rear springs, but I can't for the life of me find anyone actually selling this part. Does anyone have any idea where these might be found?

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Unfortunately as many rubber parts on this car they can not be found... You will have to source something from ebay, or from a junkyard. Or find something that you can use to make something that will serve the same purpose.

Would you anticipate this to be a direct replacement, or do you think fabrication would be required?
