Rear Suspension

Post by A66ott »

I just bought and installed the KYB Gas-A-Just struts on the rear of my 95 Z26. I can definitely tell it stiffened up the rear end of the car but i noticed my coils were junk. It looked like possibly the mounts were starting to rust away. I got on rockauto where i get most of my parts and was going to order the set of Moog coils for the rear. Has anybody used Moog coils on theirs? If so what did you think? I use Moog for a lot of my parts as they are good parts. I just haven't used their coils. any thoughts or suggestions to help me get my car off my tires.

I'm sure their coils are fine; or you can buy a set of Eibach's for 95-96 cars from me for $150 shipped! They have about 80K on them.

The Eibachs lower the car don't they? I want stock height. My front is already stock height but my trunk is nearly sitting on my tires. I like the Beretta's lowered but i cant lower my cars. I cant pull into my moms driveway to begin with. Her driveway is rough lol.

Your starting with Z26 springs... I can guarantee you that the Moog stuff will end up raising your car up since they have made their parts to base model spec which sat higher than the Z to begin with. All of Eibach's claims are based off of starting with Base model height anyways so you do not get the same drop with them in say a Z26 car or a GTU, or Indy.
