As many would know by now i have a 3.1 auto GTZ bored and all sorts of good stuff anyways im trying to figure out when the throttle is WFO it shifts from 1st to 2nd flawlessly but from 2nd to 3rd it holds at 5 g and the MIL comes on and Then it shifts at 5500rpm also when it is cold the tranny will not shift from 1st to 2nd for a mile or two until the engine is warmed up. Any ideas im hopin that it is not the trans i was thinking and when i could get the code the my snap-on scanner said it was the solenoid or gear switch. One thing i have noticed i cannot shift in to 1st at any time. So im thinking it is A) TV Cable "kickdown" B) TCC or internal solenoid C) Tranny 170K on it

I think it's a dealer-only part.
