I have a 3.1 auto GTZ and i was wondering where a detent cable can be had brand new and cheap i need it soon because the car is my daily driver so any help is greatly appreciated.

gm-parts-direct has them for 52 dollars delivered. This is a hard to get part, so could be a PITA to find one. What is wrong with the existing?

the fitting that goes on the throttle plates and the cable is just all cracked up anyways where do u locate the part a gm parts?

With the clutch and cables for manual tranny's.

no i need the kickdown for the auto trans but i really do wish i had a manual.

That is jsut where they put it. You will see the part description has "Auto" in it. IT is the kickdown cable.
