I have a 90 GTZ. A while ago my fog lights stopped working. It was so long ago that I don't remember if they burnt out individually or they just stopped working all together. I read the horror stories of trying to change the bulbs and decided to not even bother trying.
Sometime later, I discover that my map lights don't work anymore either. Is is a conincidence that both my fog lights and my map lights are out? I checked the fuses but they are OK. Is there something that might have caused them to stop working without blowing the fuse?

overhead console out
Don't see anything in the wiring diagrams that would indicate a problem. The wiring is seperate. Try replacing the bulbs and checking sockets with a noid light.
