I have my GTU that now has a 3400 in it and I also have and a complete '88 GT 5spd. car. 1st off how can I tell what tranny  the GT has and is it just a simple process of swapping parts to the GTU?

the 88 gt 5speed will bolt up no prob..a few parts have to be swapped or welded in, but since you have the whole donor, it will be a lot easier..
