Still got the axles? I'd take both sides.

Hey, does the 2.5in exhaust system w/ dynomax muffler sound pretty good? or would it make my 2.8 sound like sh*t? And would it hurt my 2.8's performance due to less backpressure? The only mod I know of engine wise that was done to my car is a CAI.

The exhaust would wake your GTU up, a lot.

Backpressure and performance doesn't necessarily apply to automotive engines. A 2-stroke engine, sure.

Okay, the only engine I modified the exhaust on was my 1.0 3 cylinder metro I had before, made it even more of a turd than it was before, which is saying something because it literally had 50hp, and less than that at the wheels lol

If no one snatches that exhaust up I may, seems like a really good deal. And I think I'm within close enough distance that I could just pick the exhaust up.

Do I need the headers as well or would I be okay with the stock manifolds?

The exhaust can be used without headers if you get a reducer welded or clamped on to go back to your stock downpipe. My car had a metal gas tank.

Kurt, the axles are all yours. I have a spare passenger side GM axle too that made a clicking noise a few times so I swapped it out. If you want me to throw that one in too I can, but would prefer to keep it to hack up to keep my front wheel bearings together. PM Me

I thought you couldn't use newer car exhaust on an older car.

I think the problem is using older car exhaust on a newer car.

The newer cars have larger fuel tanks.

No problem. I am not in any rush. I probably wouldn't install it til fall/winter. If you have a good enough camera phone you could text me the pics. I really just need to know if the plate needs to be replaced and if the part # is 198241.
