engine (w41/w40) or 3400
engine (w41/w40) or 3400
I am at the point where I just want this car to run again, whether it takes money or not. I'd love something to work with, otherwise I may just eat the cost (at some unforeseen point) and drop a brand new engine into my GTZ. I'm so annoyed it had taken so long to get back on track. So I am looking for a quad four h/o engine, or even a 3400 to swap at this point..
I bought a really nice Mustang GT to use as my DD, so I am not in a huge rush, but I love this little car and I haven't given up on her yet.
PM me with any engines you may have.. thanks.!

whats your budget? i have access to two high output quad 4 cars i can pull the motors from, one is an olds 442 and might be a w41 motor, its a w41 car, and the other is a 90 gtz, in either case, they'd need to be rebuilt but the blocks are good and on the gtz, the head i believe is good as well. and if you v6 swap it, in a 90, your going to be just as much into as a new quad 4. theres a guy selling a brand new olds quad 4 new pittsburg pa, but i believe its the low output. he's asking 250 for it.
1991 beretta GTZ- 2.3l w41 cams, ported 086 head with a 3 angle valve job, fidanza flywheel with exedy racing clutch, 3.94fdr from and scx, so much more..

If interested I have a 2.4 hybrid with about 2 hours of runtime on it I may part with for the right price. Its setup to bolt, plug and play in a gtz right now.

I still think your jumping the gun... Pull apart what you have I bet the stuff that makes it a HO quad will be fine and you just need to replace some bearings and have the crank turned.. Why turn it into a headache?

i'm sure he feels a little "burned" by the current engine... that's what i felt about my quad when i put money into the engine for maintenance, and the it never ran right again...
defiantly recommend to take the time to give everything a good go over... someone who knows what to look for, and what should be replaced without even thinking about re-using some parts
