I think he means the plastic coated metal trim pieces around the window. They always suck. Been thinking about a solution for mine with no great ideas. haha

I have 2 cars with trim. Once it finally warms up enough and the snow melts I can start tearing parts off of cars Maybe some of it is good enough to use for you. I have a lot to do as it is already. lol Usually my shop isn't so busy this time of year, but damn if I haven't been buried under more work that normal lately. Crazy.

Yeah, that would work. Things are ramping up, spring is not here yet, but its starting to get better outside.

Update:

Did you still want the trims for around the windows? The ones on the base are in nice enough shape, if you are interested. I was starting to offer the top ones to somebody and I remembered you wanted a set and had asked first...!

Let me know. I was going to do the upper ones (pair) for $40 shipped. They would have to go in their own box anyway do to lengths, but up to you. Let me know if you need all of the pieces. outer top, mirror section, bottom, and the inner bottom, and the verticals that go around the inside of the door. Could probably do all the trims from both sides for you for 100 shipped. That is a lot of trim. The dew strips are decent, and though they are stiff, they're intact at least.

I will check on that. I have pulled them off the red base I had without too many issues. Just had to roll the glass down, pull the strips. Might have expanded the sill to make more room for the screws, but it wasn't overly difficult.. Tough but doable. Already have pulled the mirror on the pass side, along with the door handles, so that much is already done.

Unless you are talking about the window guides themselves? Those may be a bit more work, yes. lol

Or were you referring to the rear quarter windows? Ugh. lol

Dew strips require window removal, unless you craft a tool to get those screws.

I tried making it, and super epoxy couldn't hold at all.

No problem. Tool from Dickys, or a welder and a short philips bit will do the trick too. As I said, I have removed them before without taking out the glass.

Too bad they're not as easy as a Corsica - Those things are a breeze to take out.

Yes, Tim, you were first to ask. Yes they are still on the car. I should be pulling them along with a bunch of other items this week. But I still wanted to be sure of what all you needed:

Outer dew strips.
Inner dew strips.
Outer window dress trim.
Inner window rubbers? Those that are not a part of the glass guides I think. May be one piece, I can't recall offhand..
Actual door rubber gaskets (That seal the door to the car).
Glass guides/trim (Those will be the bastard for me to get out)

If its just the first 5, those I can do fairly easily. The last one requires me to remove the window glass, not sure I want to get into that, but will if you want. Once I know for sure what you want Tim, I will get them all pulled and boxed.
