I'll have to check my wife's phone, I know she got his number when we were in Michigan, maybe I can give him a call. I doubt he had any intentions of ripping you off but he really should settle this. Hopefully something bad hasn't happened.

I ordered in November 2012, so coming up on 1 year. I did talk to him about a month ago and he just says hes still working on it. i dont wanna cause trouble here so I'm just gonna keep on waiting and hope for the best. I guess sometimes this is to be expected. Actually i have $600 wrapped up in the deal because i ordered 2 sets of sides and 3rd brake lights and a set of taillights. oh well.

Someone needs to call him and tell him to either settle up, or fulfill the orders as well as post an update to let those know he is still alive. The last thing he wants is to turn into whats going on with the $550 I have invested in DRTC's and have absolutely no idea where those went to, as well as complete lack of communication.

I didn't either. Everyone I've talked to about him has said he's a great guy. In the past I had many great online conversations with him and that's why I choose to do business with him. Never expected it to end up like this.

As I said in the main thread, things have gotten away from me, and with the load of stuff on my plate most of the time, its been hard to get those done. So I will see about getting all of these done asap. I will figure it out, and I really didn't mean for it to get to this point.

So let me see what I can work out here, and get you all taken care of. I left my number in the other thread, if anyone wants to give me a hard time. I know I deserve it.

When you can't find parts you need to get creative. I've modified several of these lights using LED strip lights. A cold cathode unit can be used too. RTV silicone is used to water-proof it against corrosion. I went this route after I found the bulbs are expensive and the housing is crap. Open to moisture and corrosion that usually kills them.

i am more concerned about the $600 investment I've made with nothing in return than the fact that I need to get creative.

That sucks, and to think, ppl have had worse things happen to them for less money.
