Door Tweeters

Post by Jeff P »

I grabbed some tweeters from the doors of a '97 Grand Am GT (mounted where our mirror adjusters are) and now I've got a question if anyone knows about GAs...How are these things hooked up from the factory?  Do they have their own output from the stereo, or are they run in parallel with their respective door speakers, or what?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that they run parallel with the door speakers... in order to get the best sound, you need to have a crossover to separate the bass and the treble.
