Raced my buddy in his fireturd couple weeks ago and I beat him. Wasn't by much but his shiny sports car got beat by my 2.2L burrito!

Was the Firebird an auto? I stick 3.8 f-body should walk all over any stock v6 or 2.2 retta, stock. But this just goes to show you that racing mostly depends on the driver. Just keep it safe. I'll have to see if I can race my friend with his WRX again. I kick his rear on the roll but that blasted awd got me off the line. Now that I don't have a leaking head gasket I might be able to get him. Let's see some pics of the your burrito .

The fireturd was a man. but I'm a really really good driver with hopes to become a professional. I'll work on getting some pictures or the beast.

how do u figure a  car with relatively the same power will "walk all over" a car with almost half the weight?as far as i know the late model 3.8 made what 160-170hp to the wheels on a good day.5 spd or not that opinion is debatable

Didn't know the Fire bird had a 3.8 V6 but I didn't smoke him. He was catching me after about 80mph but the road was only a 35mph so we slowed down. Not my fault he can't drive as well as me. O and fastlane02, I'll race you anytime, don't expect to win though...

dont beat my bird, It will get scared and poop on ya  lol

Oh i should add it also has a 239-242 dur.  649/609 lift 111 lsa cam
PRC 2.5 LS6 heads
fast 90 intake 90 mm tb
oh pair of slicks to
ya you might get me to 80

On beating a firebird(3.8) souldn't be that hard. considering the weight/ hp factor
170rwhp/3500 lbs
125 fwhp/2800 lbs
it take apx. 15 to 20 whp to gain a .10 in a 1/4
and every 100lbs is a tenth or so

He was getting you on top in becuase of the bigger engine and gearing probably good kill

Yeah I wish my gearing was closer together but that's the problem with a Beretta they aren't sports cars and it would be a waste of time to mess with anything major like a trans. But someday I'll have a real car, not a burrito....
