Welcome! I should frequent the forum more so I know when people from my own state join :D. Good luck with the GTZ!

Have you happened to grab a shot of the engine bay yet?

'91's and '92's were a little hard to find. '93's are pretty damn rare!

My Dealer tried to locate a '92 when I bought my GT with no luck.

And all 3.1 GTZ's were automatics!

'91 California Quad (Gone with just a bit of "Seller's Remorse".)
'92 3500 GT gone and not really missed. It was fun. Documented 13.47 N/A.

Just wanted to post a pic.

New brake lines have been done. New to me bumper cover. Kind people on facebook hooked me up with rear plastics i needed. New to me drivers seat, center console and lots of little things (could use a new steering column) found a headliner all at a local junkyard. But i got not so great results with the headliner. Is a sunroof (factory) roof different from a car without?

Ive installed a new cts, iac and tps. Im fighting a surging idle that it does after it runs for awhile.

Someone stripped out the 3rd brake light screws and i cant get them out. Might have to drill em.

Hopefully i'll be able to fix the idle and get it to run good.

I'll have to check my headliner, had it redone just after I bought my car.
Look in the "help" area of your parts store for a washer bottle cap/lid.

Check your vapor canistor lines for splits. Then check all vacuum lines after that.

Thats funny you noticed that. It needs a new neck i think. Something funky with it.

I think it needs new injectors. to me if it was a vacuum line it would bounce all the time. But since it only does it after running for awhile it cant be that. What are some ways to test injectors? Im new to this mpfi stuff. My pickup only has two injectors haha.

I really want to get this car reliable. theres a local yard and i basically stripped the good berettas. They have a ton of old cavis so i can get goods like a strut brace.

Injectors seem to be the weak point of these cars!

any 2.8 3.1 and 3.3 has the same injectors.

3100 injectors will also work!

Just do not mix 3100 and 3.1/2.8 as they have a different flow rate.

Look for a Cavy vert, they have a frame brace that will fit your car. Have a 15mm socket and a 1/2 ratchet ready. I have seen the brace on an RS.

Not the strut tower bar, the brace on the sub frame. You can use both.

I don't see much of anything when it comes to the headliner. Just looks like a normal one with an area cut out for the sunroof.

What's wrong with the washer bottle? The "help" caps are a bit hard to get on.

The headliner does sit a little lower in a sunroof equipped car. It's most noticeable by the visors.

Its broken. The cap is missing a ring or something. Wont go on all the way.

bad news!! I think i need a new ecm. It will randomly start dumping tons of fuel in the engine. Will try to hook it up to a "modius" at my school. Trying to save this car

That "help" cap has the ring that goes on the neck.

When does this fuel dump happen?

I guess you can say a update. I got my front wheels to finally hold air! The speedo is off which is odd because its the stock tires all around. Anyways, its been sitting a long time because of a cracked radiator. Someone screwed up this car so bad its sad.
Image
That jb weld was not me. PO thought it would fix it. So i ordered a new one and got it installed only to find out it was cracked in shipping. Sat a few weeks and finally ordered another that should be here today.

Tomorrow im planing a junkyard run to pick up a few parts.
A new dipstick. Broke it removing the radiator.
A fan shround. This thing is thrashed.
A dome light as i managed to break it.
And a few odds and ends.

A while ago i finally got my new say bar links in and a new torque mount for the engine. Old one was a oval!

After all that im sad to say my front end still clunks! Its a lot quieter but still there.

Hope to have it running again soon. I went to the yard awhile ago and got a few injectors and a fuel pressure regulator and it holds constantly. Might be able to get this to run good or plan to throw a 3400 in it!
